Young Adult Ministry
During Pope Benedict's April 19, 2008 address to young people at St. Joseph's Seminary in New York, he reminded us:
"It is from within the Church that you too will find the courage and support to walk the way of the Lord. Nourished by personal prayer, prompted by silence, shaped by the Church's liturgy you will discover the particular vocation God has for you. Embrace it with joy. You are Christ's disciples today."
The goal of the Office of Young Adult Ministry is to encourage and support parishes and communities in the Archdiocese of Washington in meeting the spiritual needs of young adults. This ministry is deeply committed to welcoming all young adults who are seeking a life in Christ, assisting young adults who wish to reestablish their relationship with the Catholic Church and encouraging all young adults to actively contribute to their parish community.
May the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit guide our journeys into adulthood as we discern God’s will for our lives.
